Our Chapter
Blue Knights Ontario VIII's members are both retirees and active law enforcement officers who have a common passion for riding.motorcycles. Our members have served or are serving with a number of law enforcement agencies throughout Canada who have the authority to arrest. These agencies include the RCMP, Military Police, Provincial Police, Municipal Police Officers, Correctional Officers to name a few.
The majority of our members reside in areas around the Highway 400 corridor, from Newmarket in the south to Orillia in the North.
Blue Knights Ontario VIII is always open to new members and their families. If you are a retired or serving law enforcement officer and wish to become and member. please contact our secretary by email: info@bkontarioviii.com
In the Blue Knights there are no strangers only people we have yet to meet.
Stay safe and… Ride with Pride...
A message from the Chapter
As a member of Blue Knights Ontario VIII, you are also a member of Blue Knights Law Enforcement Motorcycle Club and the Blue Knights Great Lakes Regional Conference (GLRC). Both Blue Knights Org. and BLue Knight GLRC provide member with incredible opportunities to travel outside of Canada and participate in a variety of events - all at incredibly discounted prices - such as conferences and charity rides.
Family is a very important aspect of the Blue Knights, and every event, formal or informal, is open not only to the member but to their to family too.
Our Chapter's meetings are generally accompanied by a meal and are held at a restaurant suitable for the meeting. The majority of our meeting are held at the Cottage Canoe restaurant, 453 Dunlop St West, Barrie (Just west of the 400 exit.) where the food and service is great and the prices are reasonable. Our meeting used to have a set schedule but during covid, we were unable to have these meetings. Since then, our meetings have been less frequent and by invitation, but we are hoping for a return to norms in 2024.
The Chapter's Board is comprised of four elected officers; the President, Vice President, Secretary and Treasurer. The Chapter also has three appointed positions; Chaplain, Ride Captain and Safety Officer. If any members wishes to have a ride at any time or to any place, our ride Captain will work with our Safety Officer to plan and organize that ride. A ride cannot be enjoyable unless it's safe also.
